Is the IdealZero B1 safe for my cat?

Absolutely. The B1 features a patented U-shaped chute for fail-safe structural safety. This design naturally keeps cats (>3.3 lbs) from entering the waste area during a clean. With a backup sensor array, this dual-layer system completely eliminates pinch hazards.
Will my cat adapt to an automatic litter box?

Most cats adapt to the IdealZero B1 within a few days.
To make the transition easier, we've created a Cat Adaptation Guide based on real customer experiences and veterinary recommendations.

Can multiple cats share one B1?

Yes. B1 is designed for multi-cat households and comfortably supports 2–3 cats. Its 12L waste bin typically lasts up to 5 days, while the built-in AI camera can recognize up to 10 individual cats.
For homes with more than three cats, we recommend using two units.
What types of cats can use the B1?

B1 is designed for cats weighing 1.5–10 kg (3.3–22 lbs), from small breeds to large cats like Maine Coons.
For kittens under 1.5 kg (3.3 lbs), auto-cleaning is automatically disabled for added safety until they reach the recommended weight.
How often do I need to empty the waste bin?

For a single cat, approximately every 15 days. For 2–3 cats, approximately every 4–5 days.
The large 12L waste bin is designed to minimize how often you need to deal with it. The app will notify you before it gets full.
*In hot summer months, we recommend emptying every 3–4 days (unless traveling) to prevent waste from sitting too long.
